The Office of Greek Life, Honor Societies and Professional Organizations promotes the growth and development of students who choose to affiliate with Greek-lettered fraternal collegiate organizations and seeks to promote the Greek system as an integral and productive part of the University.

To accomplish this mission, the Office promotes the noble ideas of academic excellence, leadership, philanthropy, and moral and ethical development of students within the framework of the Duquesne University Mission Statement.  The Office provides training and consulting in leadership development, group processes and interpersonal skills.  It also sponsors, educational, charitable, and social programming, while promoting community outreach that enables learning outside the classroom.
